Toyota Tanzania Limited has taken its customer experience a notch higher by unveiling a state-of-the-art flagship showroom at its head office in Dar es Salaam.

Customers are now set to benefit from a world-class facility that will ensure that they continue to receive an unbeatable experience for years to come”.

The new larger state-of-the-art facility follows the Toyota global standard. With a 1.2 meter raised showroom to improve vehicle visibility from the road, impressive 6.0 meter floor to ceiling glass frontage to capture natural light, increased space by providing an opportunity to view more vehicles, intimate negotiating pods, VIP meeting facilities and equipped with the latest technologies such as Interactive displays and the chance to use tablets, The new showroom will house the Toyota and Hino model range including the recently launched 8th generation Hilux pickup, the second generation Fortuner SUV and the Land Cruiser VXR.

With its investment in a new showroom, the aim is to improve the buying experience and to exceed customer’s expectations. “Customers expect a special and positive experience when they come to the showroom. Buying a car is an important decision in a consumer’s life; it is not something you do daily. Toyota would like to provide our customer with an overwhelming experience, as well as a consistent commitment to quality” says Karimjee.

It is an ambitious year ahead for Toyota Tanzania with the opening of new After Sales facilities in Dar es Salaam later in the year, as well as the continued expansion and improvement of their national After Sales network across Tanzania. In addition, the company will be rolling out new free preventative maintenance service packages as well as offering tailored leasing options through its leasing and fleet management company, Salute Finance Ltd.

The inauguration of the new Toyota showroom marks a signifiucant milestone in the Karimjee Jivanjee family’s 191 year and Toyota’s 50 year history and legacy in Tanzania. The last Toyota showroom inauguration was 26 years ago in 1990 by the ex President of Tanzania, H.E. Ali Hassan Mwinyi.

In 2015 Toyota Tanzania celebrated its 50th anniversary, as the sole authorised Toyota distributor in Tanzania since 1965. It is therefore fitting that 2016 should mark a new era for Toyota Tanzania.
