FOCUS MORE ON IMPROVING CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY, STARTIMES URGES ITS DEALERS

StarTimes Tanzania, a leading digital Tv Broadcasting operator in the country has urged its dealers to focus more on delivery the best customer services, a more that will help them expand their businesses by retaining more customers.

Speaking during a special ceremony which brought together StarTimes and its all dealers at the weekend in Dar es Salaam, StarTimes Tanzania Sales Manager, Mr. David Kisaka said the aim of the ceremony was to bring StarTimes dealers together and discuss on the services and products which are given to their customers.

“Apart from other goals like networking, improving more cooperation, we StarTimes have organized this special ceremony, so that we can all together share information and discuss on the services and products, the special promotion policies that we have currently, so that our dealers can directly share these information to our customers,” said Mr. Kisaka.

Mr. Kisaka said is delighted that the number of StarTimes’ customers keeps on increasing day-by-day, as currently the company has more than one million customers, as a result direct contact of dealers and customers become very crucial in making sure all customers are reached.

“We are delighted and proud to say that the number of our customers keeps on increasing daily, and for this reason it is not easy for our company to reach all the customers, and this is why we value our dealers support because they have direct contact with our customers.

“In making sure that the customers receive the right information at the right time, organizing ceremonies of this nature, is very crucial. Its importance comes when we have new policies and offers, services and new products that we need to introduce to the market. Therefore, we believe by creating awareness among all dealers it’s easy for customers to get these information directly from them,” he added.

On her part, StarTimes Content Manager, Ms. Paulina Kimweri during the same event said it was important for all dealers to become aware of what contents are currently in the StarTimes decoders.

“I would like to urge you to become our good ambassadors apart from being dealers of StarTimes, so that you can create enough awareness of our channels and quality contents that we have in our decoders.

This is due to the fact that not all customers are aware of our channels and contents, as lots of them buy our decoders so that they can get access to the local channels without knowing what exciting contents and programmes we have in our platform,” Ms. Kimweri explained.

She said it was important for dealers to become aware of the StarTimes contents so that they can share these contents with their customers.

“You should tell your customers that we have different exciting channels which are in very affordable packages. For example, kids’ channels, religion, films, TV series, entertainments and sports,” she said and adding, “therefore, I believe this event will help you become aware of our contents and share them directly to your customers.”

StarTimes currently has several exciting contents in its platform which include rights to broadcast live matches of Germany Football league ‘Bundesliga’, Italian League ‘Serie A’, League 1 of France, FIFA World Cup U-17, European Qualifiers and others, that can be found on its sports packages, as company promise for more exciting contents on its platform in the future.
